Ways to Support
The Black Student Fund is a not-for-profit, charitable organization as defined under IRS code 501(c)(3). We receive no government funding. Black Student Fund relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations. BSF offers you a variety of ways to make a gift to the organization. Contributions to BSF are tax-deductible according to IRS guidelines and can be made using cash, check, credit card and by transferring securities. You may donate online, by mail or over the phone. Specifics regarding each method for giving are outlined.

You may make a gift over the phone using your American Express, MasterCard or Visa by calling 202-387-1414 and asking for Kevin Kelso, Director of Finance and Communications. 

Matching Gift
Many companies offer a matching gift program for their employees’ charitable contributions. Matching gifts are a great way to double or even triple your gift to BSF. To find out if your (or your spouse's) employer participates in a matching gift program contact your human resources department. If they do, please complete their matching gift form and submit it according to your employers guidelines. You will be recognized for the full amount of your contribution plus the match.

BSF Corporate Sponsors consist of a myriad of businesses with multiple and diverse industry focuses, but who are unified in a commitment to provide and sustain opportunities for African American children at independent schools.
