General Information

The ISEE should be taken by students in the 4th grade or above who want to apply to independent schools. Many schools require the test as part of the admissions procedure. If you do not know the schools to which you are going to apply, you should take the test. If you do know, ask them if this test is necessary.

Plan to take the test as soon as possible. The cost to register for the ISEE is $78.00, and the late registration fee is an additional $20.00

Walk-in registration is limited and is not guaranteed, and there is an additional fee of $30.00. You must call the test site directly to see if you can be accommodated.
