DMV Independent School K-12 Merit Scholarships

October 28, 2026

A K-12 merit scholarship is a financial award or tuition support given to students in kindergarten through 12th grade based on their achievements, talents, or specific abilities rather than family financial need. Unlike need-based aid, merit awards recognize performance in areas such as academic excellence (high GPA, test scores), advanced coursework, artistic talent, athletics, community leadership or other non-financial criteria. Independent school sourced K-12 merit awards are not offered at all schools. Below are DMV area schools with merit awards.
