Many BSF Member Schools Provide Transportation
BSF member schools offer two basic types of transportation services. Several school offer bus services with routes across the region. Some schools provide transportation to Metro and bus lines.
These BSF member schools offer bus networks:
Bishop O’Connell High School provides an expansive regional bus service network spanning Maryland, Alexandria, and Arlington.
Bullis School offers a full-year regional bus service providing Round-Trip or One-Way options (morning, afternoon, and dedicated Late Activity Bus Service) to neighborhoods throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.
Burgundy Farm Country Day School's middle school includes school-arranged transportation routes serving communities throughout Virginia, Maryland, and DC.
Congressional School features door-to-door bus service options for families living within their primary red zone in Northern Virginia. They also offer five distinct community hub stops for families residing outside the primary zone, alongside late afternoon buses.
Holton-Arms School and the Landon School, for their parts, these neighboring institutions run a jointly operated regional shuttle network. They offer dedicated bus routes to locations like Olney/Silver Spring and Northern Virginia (Alexandria/McLean).

Georgetown Day School (GDS) operates the Hopper Transportation Program, which includes regional school bus lines serving Alexandria, Arlington, Central DC, Prince George's County, McLean, Potomac, and Silver Spring. GDS heavily subsidizes regional transit, charging just $2 for morning rides and $6 for afternoon rides.
The Potomac School
Operates a massive transport infrastructure featuring over 23 different regional bus routes covering 90 zip codes. They offer a free shuttle bus service with 11 strategic drop-off locations across DC, MD, and VA, including pickups at Eastern Market, Union Station, and East Falls Church Metro stations.

Aidan Montessori School utilizes a combination of public transit integration and the Aidan School Bus to transport elementary students on regional field operations and neighborhood routes.
Academy of the Holy Cross integrates directly with Montgomery County’s public transportation. The school distributes free youth Ride-On-Bus cards so students can ride the local Ride-On Bus system at zero cost, which stops directly at the school's entrance.
National Cathedral School runs a morning and afternoon shuttle directly to and from the Woodley Park Metro Station (Red Line) for its community. They also connect families to the regional Connect DMV Shuttle Bus, which serves Prince George's County.
Bishop O'Connell High School, for its part, in addition to its long-range buses, it provides a complimentary morning courtesy shuttle bus picking up from the East Falls Church Metro station.
