Scholarship Money For DMV K-12 Independent Schools
While the majority of K-12 independent school financial aid dollars received by DMV families are provided by independent schools, some financial aid dollars are available from non school sources. Below is a list of website URLs on funding sources for DMV families.
Archdiocese of Washington Tuition Assistance Program - Limited Tuition assistance is available for students in grades Pre K-12 who are applying to or currently enrolled in Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Washington.

A Better Chance (ABC) - A Better Chance places high-performing students of color in our nation’s best independent schools and supports them on their educational and leadership journeys. ABC does not provide scholarships, but does assist families with financial aid.
Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship- A merit-based, need-blind high school scholarship for highly gifted students across the United States.

The Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credits Program - The program provides state tax credits for donations made to Approved Scholarship Foundations (Word) that provide scholarships to eligible students and attending participating private schools and non-public pre-kindergarten programs. The first step in applying for a scholarship is to contact a participating non-public school or pre-kindergarten program (see map here)
Anabaptist Scholarship Foundation - Through Virginia’s Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credits (EISTC) Program, your child may be eligible to receive assistance with educational expenses from the Anabaptist Scholarship Foundation of Virginia.
